Elltec Animec AM-301 Infusion/Blood Warmer Machine

Hypothermia, which may result in serious side effects, has always been a major concern. Infusion/Transfusion at body temperature helps prevent and treat hypothermia and also assists effective intravenous administration.

The ANIMEC AM-301 is an electrically powered warmer that warms refrigerated infusion/blood to near body temperature before delivering to the patient. The heating plate applies heat to flowing fluid via the tube placed in its channel. The unique design of the channel offers two ways of setting the tube. With a single channel setting, the maximum flow rate is 15ml/min for achievable temperature. A dual channel setting is adequate when faster flow (up to 20ml/min) and/or higher warming is required. The device is available in two standard tube sizes 4mmØ and 5mmØ.

The software controls the temperature of the heating plate and enables the fluid to be heated up to the user-set target temperature at exit, which is either 36ºC or 39ºC. An alarm and other overheat protection ensure safe use.
